This is a highly unique version of the complete broadcast of game 1 of the 1968 World Series between the Cardinals and Tigers. It is unique, because the B&W picture quality is outstanding !! The game includes complete pregame, player intros, complete game and postgame, which includes interviews with Bob Gibson (who struck out a World Series record 17 batters !), and Lou Brock, who homered and stole a base. This broadcast, called by Curt Gowdy and Harry Caray, is a baseball treasure.
